A sudden and intense fire has broken out in a section of the Job 600 building in Parliament, sending shockwaves through the entire complex. According to eyewitnesses, the fire started in a store room on one of the floors of the building, although the exact cause of the blaze is still unknown.

The Greater Accra Regional Commander of the Fire Service, ACFO 1 Roberta Agrey Ghanson, was quickly alerted to the situation and rushed to the scene to coordinate the response.
