“Real Thieves Are the Educated Ones in Coats” Says Tic Tac
- Tic Tac says educated individuals, not the uneducated, are the real thieves
- He accuses those in coats and with pens of stealing through forgery and manipulation
- Tic Tac challenges societal perceptions of who is considered a thief
Ghanaian rapper Tic Tac has shared his thoughts on the changing notion of who is considered a “thief” in society. In a recent post on X, the veteran musician reflected on how his perspective on theft has shifted over time.
Tic Tac noted that, growing up in Africa, he was taught to believe that thieves were typically uneducated or unemployed individuals. However, he now argues that this belief is far from accurate.
According to Tic Tac, the true thieves are often educated individuals who use their knowledge and authority to engage in corrupt practices, operating within the confines of legality. He specifically highlighted those who wear coats and wield pens, suggesting that these individuals steal through more sophisticated means, such as forging figures and manipulating documents.
“Growing up in Africa, most people thought thieves were mostly the uneducated or unemployed people, but now everyone knows that it is completely wrong! The real thieves are the educated ones in coats with a pen to steal via forging figures and papers for silly explanations when they are caught,” Tic Tac wrote.
