“A Girl Should Consider Marriage After 35 And A Guy, 40” – McBrown

Ghanaian actress and media personality Nana Ama McBrown has advised women to consider postponing marriage until after the age of 35 to enhance their overall well-being. McBrown suggested that this approach allows women to better prepare themselves emotionally and physically, making them more resilient in facing marital challenges.

In addition, McBrown expressed that if she were a man, she would also prefer to marry after the age of 40 to ensure a more stable and lasting relationship. She highlighted the role of parental guidance in shaping children’s attitudes towards marriage and parenthood.

“If I were to be a child again, I would think twice about marriage. If I were a girl, I would consider marriage after 35 years; if I were a man, I would consider it after 40. Do you know why? I was fortunate to be with men who did not abuse me… I know some people might disagree with me, but that’s okay. If you have a child with someone, it’s fine even if they don’t marry you,” McBrown said during an interview with Bola Ray on GhOne TV on August 23, 2024.

She also stressed the importance of instilling Biblical teachings in children to protect them from early parenthood. “Even the Bible acknowledges that we will sin, which is why we have forgiveness. So, it’s good to educate children on Biblical teachings to guide them,” she added.

The discussion sparked a response from the show’s host, Bola Ray, who disagreed with McBrown’s perspective. Ray emphasized that Biblical teachings advocate for raising children according to religious principles and waiting until one is of age to marry before starting a family.

“As parents, you must raise a child according to the teachings of the Bible to prevent them from going astray. Wait for your time when you are of age and then get married before having kids,” Bola Ray stated.
