Fulham have strengthened their midfield by signing Sander Berge from Burnley in a £25 million deal.
The Norway international has signed a five-year contract with an option to extend for an additional 12 months.
Fulham will pay an initial £20 million for Berge, with an additional £5 million in potential add-ons.
The 26-year-old joined Burnley from Sheffield United in 2023 and was named the Clarets’ Player of the Year last season.
“It feels fantastic,” said Berge. “After some back-and-forth negotiations, I’m finally here at Craven Cottage, ready to start this new chapter.”
Berge is Fulham’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window, following Emile Smith Rowe, Jorge Cuenca, and Ryan Sessegnon.
The midfielder, who made 37 appearances for Burnley last season, has been absent from their Championship fixtures this term.
Berge has earned 46 caps for Norway. Fulham hosts Leicester City on August 24 for their first home match of the Premier League season.
