Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party’s 2024 vice-presidential candidate, has strongly defended the integrity of Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia, the party’s presidential candidate.
At the party’s 2024 manifesto launch in Takoradi, Dr. Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO, affirmed that Dr. Bawumia has never been subject to any corruption investigations, emphasizing his clean record and commitment to transparency.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh expressed confidence that Dr. Bawumia’s leadership would uphold the principles of accountability and build upon the accomplishments of the current Akufo-Addo administration. He urged Ghanaians to trust in Dr. Bawumia’s dedication to ethical governance and responsible management of national resources.
“I firmly believe in Dr. Bawumia,” Dr. Opoku Prempeh stated. “Having worked closely with him, I am convinced of his capability and integrity. He is the right person to lead Ghana forward. His vision for a prosperous Ghana is clear, and I am committed to supporting him in achieving it.”
Dr. Opoku Prempeh highlighted Dr. Bawumia’s qualities of humility, hard work, and problem-solving skills, asserting that his leadership will steer Ghana towards greater success. He reassured the public that Dr. Bawumia’s tenure will be free from corruption and dedicated to the nation’s advancement.
