Violence Erupts in West Bank Village as Israeli Settlers Clash with Palestinians, Leaving One Dead

A Palestinian man, Rashid Sedda, 22, was shot dead by Israeli settlers in the village of Jit, West Bank, overnight .

The settlers, some wearing masks, attacked the village, setting fire to houses and cars, and throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails.

The Palestinian health ministry condemned the incident as “organised state terrorism.” The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) arrested one settler and is investigating the reports of a fatality.
