A spokesperson for John Kwadwo Alan Kyerematen’s Movement for Change, Ms. Abena Kyei, has asserted that John Mahama is unlikely to win the 2024 elections, despite recent polls suggesting otherwise.
In a recent appearance on an Accra-based FM show, Ms. Kyei refuted any claims of an alliance between the Alan Kyerematen Movement and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) aimed at securing a victory for Mahama.
She emphasized that the Movement for Change is solely focused on advancing Alan Kyerematen’s candidacy to lead the next government.
Ms. Kyei argued that Mahama, who lost the previous election, is poised to face another defeat. S
he criticized Mahama’s leadership, accusing him of corruption and highlighting discrepancies in his Green Book, which purportedly documents roads built during his previous term.
She stated, “There is no alliance with the NDC or John Mahama. Our goal is to win the presidential seat on December 7. Any claims of an alliance with the NDC are false. The NDC, having lost before, will lose again. What new plans does Mahama have? His previous term was marked by increased corruption.”
