The company has set ambitious targets, including onboarding 500 new properties and boosting Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) by 65% by 2026.

Myles believes that Africa’s burgeoning tourism industry presents a significant opportunity for online booking platforms. “The region is experiencing unprecedented growth, and hotels need solutions that can help them thrive in this dynamic environment,” she said.

Profitroom’s approach is centered on hyper-localization, recognizing that a one-size-fits-all solution is ineffective in Africa’s diverse tourism landscape.

The company plans to tailor its technology to specific market segments, such as mobile-optimized platforms for safari-focused destinations like Kenya and Tanzania, and outdoor adventure packages for Namibia and Botswana.

Sustainability and direct bookings are also core to Profitroom’s African strategy.

The platform will empower hotels to operate more sustainably, attracting eco-conscious travelers while supporting local communities.

Additionally, Profitroom will help hotels reduce reliance on third-party platforms by increasing direct bookings, giving them greater control over their revenue and guest experience.
