Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO and the vice-presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party, has firmly endorsed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the party’s presidential candidate, as an individual of impeccable integrity.
During a recent exchange with renowned journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni, who presented him with a copy of his new book, NAPO expressed his confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s untarnished record.
He emphasized that Dr. Bawumia has consistently demonstrated uprightness in his public service and has never been involved in any corrupt activities.
“The flagbearer I serve is not corrupt, has never been corrupt, and will remain incorruptible,” NAPO asserted.
In addition, NAPO shared his plans to publish his own works, reflecting on his experiences as Minister of Energy and Education. He expressed his enthusiasm for reading Manasseh’s book and promised to review and provide feedback on it.
“I am an avid reader and will thoroughly read your book and share my views. I am also preparing my own publications to recount my experiences as Education and Energy Minister,” he noted.
Manasseh’s book, titled ‘The President We Never Had,’ explores significant events and developments during the administration of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
