Ghanaian music icon Emmanuel Andrews Samini, popularly known as Samini, is stepping into the spotlight as an actor in the highly anticipated film The Storm. Directed by Ben Owusu, the movie will have its premiere at the Silverbird Cinemas on September 21 and 22, 2024, in Kumasi.
In The Storm, Samini takes on the role of Ali Zafara, the formidable head of the Southern Crime underworld. His character is depicted as stern, unfeeling, and highly esteemed within the criminal realm.
The film also boasts a stellar cast including Ama K. Abebrese, Adjetey Anang, Fiifi Coleman, Salma Mumin, Edward Agyakum Kufuor, and Luckie Lawson.
