  • Paul Okoye claims to have written 99% of their songs

Tensions between Nigerian music sensation PSquare’s twin brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye, have reached a boiling point. The rift was sparked by Paul’s recent interview, in which he claimed to have written the majority of their songs and alleged that Peter had involved the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in a dispute.

Paul went on to label Peter as the “weakest link” in their camp and revealed that they have parted ways once again. However, Peter has fired back with a scathing letter, refuting Paul’s accusations and highlighting his own significant contributions to their music.

“I’m frustrated with the way Paul portrays me in public and constantly undermines my contributions,” Peter wrote. “He only referenced one song that didn’t perform well to discredit me, but what about the many successful tracks I’ve written?”

Peter listed several hit songs he had a hand in writing, including “Get-Squared,” “Bizzy Body,” “Personally,” “Roll It,” “Temptation,” “Alingo,” “More than a Friend,” “Shekini,” “Say Your Love,” “Gimme Dat,” “Senorita,” and “IGBEdu.” He questioned whether these songs were also considered failures.

Furthermore, Peter expressed his displeasure with Paul’s consistent disrespect towards his family, friends, and associates, despite his efforts to maintain peace. He accused his brother of attempting to turn fans against him by portraying him as envious.

As a result, Peter has made the painful decision to distance himself from his brother and other siblings. The future of PSquare remains uncertain as the bitter feud between the twin brothers continues to escalate.
