NDC’s Devine Deh Calls Gov’t Digitalization a ‘Scam’

Devine Deh, an activist of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has strongly criticized the digitalization efforts of the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration, calling it a “charade” and a “scam”. Speaking at the launch of the NDC Youth Manifesto in Accra on Monday, August 12, Deh argued that the current administration’s digitalization drive is nothing but a facade.

He emphasized that a John Mahama-led government would deliver a proper digital economy to Ghanaians, unlike the Akufo-Addo administration. Deh highlighted Mahama’s proven track record in implementing digital initiatives, citing the Accra Digital Centre as an example.

He assured that Mahama understands what it means to deliver a digital economy and would bring true digitalization to Ghana. Former President John Dramani Mahama, the Flagbearer of the NDC, also spoke at the event, expressing his belief in the potential of every young Ghanaian.

Mahama committed to creating a brighter future for the youth of Ghana, stating that he takes their vote and support as a commitment to them. He criticized the misuse of Ghana’s resources under the Akufo-Addo administration and promised to recover stolen public funds if elected.

Mahama emphasized the need for big changes in the country’s future, citing high unemployment, failing education systems, and rising public debt as major concerns. He concluded by promising to use the next four years to reset the country and create more opportunities for young people, urging them to vote and put their trust in him and his running mate, Professor Naana Opoku-Agyemang.
