Chelsea Seal Deal For Young Argentine Defender

Chelsea have strengthened their defensive options with the signing of 19-year-old Argentine defender, Aaron Anselmino, from Boca Juniors for a fee of £15.6 million.
The promising youngster has penned a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge but will remain on loan at Boca for the 2024-25 season as part of the agreement.
Anselmino made his first-team debut last year and has impressed despite his tender age.
This latest acquisition adds to Chelsea’s summer spending spree, which has already seen them invest heavily in midfield and defensive reinforcements
The club have brought in the likes of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Renato Veiga, and Tosin Adarabioyo, among others, while generating significant income from player sales.
Despite their busy transfer window, Chelsea are still in the market for a striker and are reportedly interested in Atletico Madrid’s Samu Omorodion.
The Blues kick off their Premier League campaign with a challenging clash against defending champions Manchester City on August 18th.
