Drake Releases a Massive Collection of Music Dump

Drake has made a substantial release of previously unseen content available to his fans, including three new tracks and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage. The Canadian rapper has uploaded this material to the website 100gigs, with a screenshot of the site shared on his Instagram Story.

The newly released content comprises over 100 gigabytes of data and features three unreleased songs: “It’s Up,” which includes collaborations with Young Thug and 21 Savage; “Housekeeping Knows,” featuring Latto; and “Blue Green Red.”

In addition to the new music, the release includes a wealth of studio session footage, audio clips, and visual content. Notably, one folder contains insights into the 2016 hit “Hotline Bling,” where Drake explains that the song’s title refers to a romantic encounter, using “Hotline Bling” as a contact name in his phone. This folder also features various clips from the music video’s filming, including scenes of Drake dancing in front of a color-changing background and reviewing his performance on screen.

Another folder focuses on the production of Drake’s 2022 album, Honestly Nevermind. This segment reveals studio footage of Drake and his team reacting to the music during its creation.

The release comes after a period of relative quiet from Drake, following his high-profile feud with fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar. The rivalry, which has simmered for years, intensified in May as the two artists exchanged insults through their music. Drake accused Kendrick of selling out and criticized his height while making serious allegations of domestic violence, which Kendrick later denied. Kendrick, in turn, dismissed Drake’s music as “predictable” and accused him of being addicted to gambling and drugs. He also criticized Drake for “colonising” Southern rap culture and made unsubstantiated claims about his interactions with young women.

Amidst this controversy, Drake’s latest song “Not Like Us” achieved record-breaking success on Spotify, becoming the hip-hop track with the most plays in a single day. The song topped the US charts and reached number six in the UK.

Fans have taken to social media to react to the new material, with mixed responses. On X/Twitter, one fan praised “It’s Up” as “one of the best songs” they had heard, while another suggested that Drake’s frequent releases might lead to over-saturation.
