Baba Yara Stadium Ready For Ghana vs Angola Clash
- NSA assures of Baba Yara Stadium's readiness
- Concerns had been raised about the pitch
- All eyes will be on the progress of the pitch restoration
The National Sports Authority (NSA) has assured Ghanaians that the Baba Yara Stadium will be in top shape to host Ghana’s crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola on September 5.
Concerns had been raised about the condition of the pitch after it hosted a large religious gathering, leaving it in a deplorable state.
However, the NSA’s Ashanti Regional Director, Kwame Baa, has dismissed these worries, stating that the necessary measures are being taken to restore the stadium to match-ready condition.
The stadium, set to be the home ground for Asante Kotoko in the upcoming Ghana Premier League season, is expected to be a fortress for the Black Stars as they embark on their journey to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
With the clock ticking towards the crucial qualifier, all eyes will be on the progress of the pitch restoration work as Ghanaians eagerly anticipate the match.
