Brazilian striker Neymar has shared a candid update on his recovery journey after suffering a severe knee injury in October.
The Al Hilal forward, who tore his anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus while on international duty, has been sidelined ever since.
In an Instagram post, Neymar revealed the emotional toll of his rehabilitation process, admitting, “There are days that I want to give up… It’s hard to go through all of this.” However, he emphasized his resilience, declaring, “Here’s a warrior who won’t stop until I get what I want!”
Neymar credited his faith as a source of strength, saying, “God is my strength and my fortress.” He vowed to continue fighting every day, determined to overcome his injury.
The 32-year-old had made just five appearances for Al Hilal since joining the Saudi Pro League team in August 2023 before suffering the season-ending injury.
Manager Jorge Jesus hopes Neymar can return to action by September.
