Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has reassured that Jude Bellingham’s position at the club will remain unaffected by the arrival of Kylian Mbappe.
The 21-year-old England midfielder excelled in an advanced role last season, scoring 23 goals in 42 games as Real Madrid claimed La Liga and Champions League titles.
Despite Mbappe’s high-profile signing, Ancelotti emphasized that Bellingham’s role will not shift to accommodate the French striker. “Nothing changes for him,” Ancelotti stated. “He surprised everyone with his fantastic quality and maturity in his first season, and the next season will be no different.
He will continue to be one of our best players, supporting the team with his exceptional talent.”
Ancelotti also defended Bellingham against criticism of his performances at Euro 2024, where England reached the final. “In my opinion, Bellingham played really well at the Euros,” he said, backing the young midfielder’s abilities.
With Ancelotti’s endorsement, Bellingham is poised to continue his impressive form at Real Madrid, alongside new teammate Mbappe.
