The nominees for the 3rd edition of the Ghana Music Awards Europe (GMA Europe) were revealed at a launch event held at La Vila Boutique Hotel in Osu, Accra. The main ceremony is scheduled for September 7, 2024, in Amsterdam.
The announcement event was a significant gathering, attracting prominent musicians, emerging recording artists, talent managers, critics, media figures, and other professionals from the music industry.
The GMA Europe awards are dedicated to recognizing and honoring the accomplishments and contributions of Ghanaian music talents, both from within Ghana and those residing in Europe.
Last year’s 2nd edition of the awards took place in Toulouse, France. The upcoming 3rd edition will be hosted in Amsterdam.
At the launch, music icon Amandzeba Nat Brew, highlife sensation Samuel Owusu, and MUSIGA President Bessa Simons attended and commended the organizers for their role in enhancing the global presence of Ghanaian artists.
Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng, the head of PR for the GMA Europe, emphasized the organizers’ commitment to ensuring a credible and entertaining awards show, promising high-quality performances for the event on September 7.
