Ghana Gas to Undertake Maintenance Shutdown of Processing Plants

The Ghana National Gas Company (Ghana Gas) has announced that it will shut down its Processing Plant and Offshore Gas Export Facilities starting Thursday, August 1, for scheduled maintenance.

The shutdown, which will continue until Saturday, August 17, is intended to improve the plant’s efficiency and ensure a reliable gas supply.

During this period, Lean Gas from the Sankofa-OCTP field will still be available for delivery at Takoradi Distribution Stations.

In a statement released on Wednesday, July 31, Ghana Gas apologized for any potential inconvenience caused by the maintenance and reassured the public that power supply will remain effective throughout the period.
