Ghana Gas To Undergo Maintenance Shutdown

The Ghana National Gas Company (Ghana Gas) has announced a planned shutdown of its processing plant and offshore gas export facilities from August 1 to 17, 2024.

The maintenance is aimed at improving operational efficiency and ensuring uninterrupted gas supply in the long term.

During the shutdown, the company will continue to supply lean gas from the Sankofa-OCTP field to the Takoradi Distribution Station.

Ghana Gas has assured the public that there will be no disruptions to power supply during this period.

The company has apologized for any inconvenience caused by the shutdown and emphasized its commitment to maintaining a reliable gas supply for the country.
