“Central Region Development: Amoakwa Buadu VII Pledges Assistance to Mahama”

Odeefo Amoakwa Buadu VII, President of the Central Regional House of Chiefs, has pledged his support to John Dramani Mahama, the NDC flagbearer, for developing the Central Region if Mahama is elected.
During Mahama’s visit to the Central Regional House of Chiefs with his running mate, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, on Tuesday, July 30, Odeefo Amoakwa Buadu VII discussed the region’s pressing issues, including inadequate road infrastructure and high youth unemployment.
He assured Mahama of the chiefs’ cooperation, saying, “If elected President, we will work together to advance development in the Central Region. While we recognize some progress on roadworks, many projects have been left incomplete. We are committed to improving road construction and creating job opportunities for our youth.”
Odeefo Amoakwa Buadu VII also commended the NDC for selecting a representative from the Central Region, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, as the party’s running mate.
“We are happy that the party selected someone from the Central Region to be the vice flagbearer. We also thank John Mahama for maintaining Prof. Opoku Agyemang as his running mate.”
