Ghanaian social media influencer and actress Efia Odo has publicly apologized for her past dispute with fellow celebrity Sista Afia, acknowledging that her behavior was inconsistent with the person she strives to be.
In a recent television discussion, Efia Odo conceded that the conflict, which began with a provocative tweet comparing her to Sista Afia, was a mistake. She clarified that she harbors no personal animosity towards Sista Afia and regretted her response to the tweet.
“I shouldn’t have responded to that person’s tweet. I don’t think it’s gonna happen again. After that incident, my spirit fought. The brouhaha made us dirty ourselves as women, and it is not good,” Efia Odo said during the discussion.
She further expressed concern that the altercation might have led to a loss of respect from her supporters. “People who respect us will lose respect for us. I prayed about what I did, and I think the best thing is to apologize and end this brouhaha,” she added.
Describing herself as ‘born again,’ Efia Odo has committed to a journey of spiritual growth and personal transformation. She disclosed that she is now guided by the Bible and the Holy Spirit in her decisions and actions.
