NPP Confirms Richard Ahiagbah in Stable Condition After Accident

Richard Ahiagbah, the Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is reported to be in stable condition following a serious accident near Konongo, as confirmed by the party.

The incident occurred early Saturday morning on the Kumasi-Accra highway near Aduapompo while Ahiagbah was en route to Kumasi for a scheduled event. Reports suggest he was alone in his vehicle at the time of the collision with an articulated truck.

In a statement dated Sunday, July 28, NPP General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong provided an update: “Mr. Ahiagbah is in stable condition and responding positively to treatment. Doctors have advised limiting visitors to ensure he receives adequate rest during recovery.”

The NPP expressed gratitude for the widespread support and prayers from Ghanaians for its Communications Director during this challenging time.

“On behalf of the NPP, we sincerely thank all Ghanaians for their overwhelming love and well wishes. We appreciate everyone’s prayers and support,” stated the party.

On Sunday, Justin Kodua Frimpong, alongside other party executives, visited Richard Ahiagbah at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), where he continues to receive medical care.
