Liverpool Fend Off Bids For Endo and Van den Berg

Liverpool have rebuffed offers for midfield stalwart Wataru Endo and defensive prospect Sepp van den Berg.
French club Marseille tabled a £11.8m bid for Endo, who only joined the Reds from Stuttgart last summer for a fee of around £16.2m.
The Japanese international has impressed since his arrival, making 43 appearances in his debut season. Despite the interest, Liverpool have made it clear that the 31-year-old is not for sale.
The Anfield club have also rejected a £8.4m offer from PSV Eindhoven for Van den Berg. The 22-year-old defender has spent the past few seasons on loan, most recently at Mainz, where he helped them retain their Bundesliga status.
Liverpool value the centre-back significantly higher and are determined to keep him at the club.
As the summer transfer window progresses, Liverpool remain without a new signing under manager Arne Slot.
