Ghana Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko SC, have strengthened their ranks with the acquisition of Guinean goalkeeper, Mohammed Camara.

The 24-year-old shot-stopper joins the Porcupine Warriors on a two-year deal from Soar Academy, becoming the club’s tenth signing of the ongoing transfer window.

Camara, who impressed with 26 appearances for Soar Academy last season, brings a wealth of experience and talent to the Kotoko goalkeeping department.

His agility, quick reflexes, and commanding presence have earned him high praise from head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, who expressed his excitement about the new signing.

“Mohammed Camara is an exceptional goalkeeper with immense talent,” Ogum stated. “His ability to control his area and make crucial saves makes him a perfect fit for our team. We are confident he will be a valuable asset to the club.”

As Kotoko continues to rebuild its squad following a significant player exodus at the end of the 2023/24 season, the signing of Camara is seen as a crucial step in bolstering the team’s defensive capabilities.
