Rising star Schia has announced the release of her latest single, ‘Borehole,’ marking her first new music of the year.
The track features Schia’s signature catchy flow and rides the wave of infectious Afrobeats, with production credits going to Jayso and Mike Kwa6i. Upon listening, ‘Borehole’ quickly captivates with its delicate melodies, offering a sensory experience akin to fresh Jasmine petals.

“I wanted to make a fun, erotic song to lighten everyone’s mood, so I let my imagination run wild,” Schia explained. “This song unlocked my new alter ego, ‘Melanin Monroe.’ She is a witty and naughty character who can’t help but bless all baddies with an anthem. Anyway, I wanted to stay true to myself by rapping. But at the same time, I wanted to include sweet and memorable melodies for the hook.”
‘Borehole’ marks the second collaboration between Schia and Jayso, following her 2023 debut single ‘La Vida Loca.’ Like its predecessor, this new release underscores Schia’s promise as a versatile artist.
