Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has launched a scathing attack on the structure of player contracts in the Ghana Premier League.
The Ivorian tactician believes the current system is unprofessional and detrimental to club stability.
Ouattara highlighted the issue of players leaving clubs at crucial points of the season due to contract clauses. “It’s absurd that a player’s contract can end in September or December,” he said. “This is unheard of in professional football.”
The Hearts coach is determined to rebuild his squad after a disappointing previous season and is focused on creating a more stable environment for the club.
