“Most Sinful Acts Happen After Church” – Big Joe Frazier
- Big Joe Frazier says most sinful acts in Ghana happen after church services on Sundays
- He cites hypocrisy among churchgoers as inspiration for his new single "After Church"
- Frazier's song features King Paluta and took time to compose to ensure a lasting impact
Hiplife Legend Big Joe Frazier has highlighted what he perceives as a prevalent issue in Ghanaian society, suggesting that many sinful acts occur after church services on Sundays.
In an interview with Amansan Krakye, Frazier expressed his observations, stating, “There is a popular saying that God comes first in whatever we find ourselves doing, so if someone wants to do something, they prefer doing it after church. Especially on Sundays, even if people have certain activities to do, they want to go to church first, and I realized there was so much hypocrisy after church service.”
The musician further elaborated on his insights, noting that his new single ‘After Church,’ featuring King Paluta, was inspired by these observations. “After attending church service, that’s when someone rains curses on people, and it’s after church that most sinful acts happen, so I picked the idea from all those angles,” he explained.
Frazier emphasized the effort he invested in composing the lyrics for ‘After Church,’ aiming to create a lasting impact with the song. “It took me a lot of time to compose the lyrics of ‘After Church’ because I wanted to do something that people will like and never fade away from the system,” he added confidently.
The release of ‘After Church’ by Big Joe Frazier underscores his commentary on societal behavior post-Sunday services, aiming to spark reflection and dialogue through his music.
