Ghanaian sprinter Benjamin Azamati has expressed immense pride in representing his country as he prepares for his second Olympic Games in Paris.

The speedster, who is part of the Ghana team now settled in the Olympic Village, is eager to build on his Tokyo 2020 experience.

In an interview with Supersport, Azamati emphasized the significance of donning the Ghanaian jersey.

“Representing Ghana means a lot. It’s an honor to carry the nation’s flag,” he said. “I’ve been inspired by athletes like Aziz Zakari and I’m determined to make my own mark.”
