Nigerian actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande has vehemently denied allegations of a secret affair with the country’s Senate President, describing the rumors as a “wicked lie from the pit of hell.”
The allegations, which surfaced on a notorious blog, listed Egbuson-Akande among several women allegedly romantically linked to the politician. However, the actress has categorically denied ever meeting or having any intimate dealings with the Senate President.
“I have never met him in my life, never been in the same room with him, and never had any intimate dealings with him,” she stated, expressing her disappointment and shock at the accusations.
Egbuson-Akande, a married woman with two children, warned that her hard-earned reputation should not be used for clickbait and reminded her accusers of the potential damage such allegations could cause to her family.
The actress has announced plans to pursue legal action against the blogger responsible for spreading the false rumors and has challenged anyone with evidence of the alleged affair to come forward, offering a N5million reward for proof of her innocence.
