Renowned Hiplife artiste Big Joe Frazier has shared his thoughts on the reported refusal of rapper Amerado to collaborate with fellow Hiplife legend Barima Sidney.

In an interview with Amansan Krakye, Big Joe Frazier expressed his disapproval of Amerado’s alleged decision, stating, “If truly it was Amerado who did that, then it doesn’t augur well because Barima Sidney is a big boy and he has gotten a lot of hit songs which Amerado doesn’t even come close to.”

Frazier emphasized the honor and privilege of collaborating with a legendary artiste like Barima Sidney, who has a plethora of hit songs to his credit. “Amerado is having 3 or 4 hit songs and Barima Sidney has multiple hits even before I started doing music, so it’s even nice for such a legend to consider you for a verse,” he added.

Big Joe Frazier, known for his hit song “Shii Shii,” further stressed that it’s a privilege for new artistes to be chosen by veterans like Barima Sidney, and such opportunities should be embraced with eagerness and love. He concluded, “For you to think that he’s no more relevant and so he wants to use you to rekindle his dead career, then I think unless it’s not the case, but I don’t expect that from Amerado.”
