Fire Tender Accident Leaves 7 Firefighters Injured in Kade

A fire tender from the Kade Fire Station (FS 438) was involved in an accident at Otwenkwanta, on the outskirts of Kade, while responding to an emergency. The incident resulted in injuries to seven crew members.
According to reports, five firefighters are currently receiving treatment at Akwatia St. Dominic’s Hospital, while two others are in critical condition at the Kade Government Hospital. One crew member fortunate enough to escape the accident unscathed.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by the authorities.
In a statement, the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) expressed their thoughts and prayers for the injured firefighters and their families. The Service commended the bravery of the firefighters and wished them a speedy recovery.
The GNFS reiterated its commitment to serving the public and ensuring the safety and well-being of its personnel.
