Fire Service Saves 15 in Rescue Operation Following Cape Coast-Accra Highway Accident

Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service successfully rescued 15 individuals involved in an accident on the Cape Coast-Accra highway near the Childcare School junction.
A Toyota Hiace, registered as GB 2053-22, veered off the road into a nearby bush around 6:30 am while traveling from Takoradi to Accra.
The fire team responded promptly, rescuing 10 passengers who were trapped inside the vehicle, while five others managed to escape on their own.
All 15 victims were transferred to the National Ambulance Service and subsequently transported to Cape Coast Teaching Hospital using three ambulances for necessary medical attention.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the accident, which resulted in partial damage to the Toyota Hiace.
