The National Service Scheme (NSS) has commenced the recruitment of National Service graduates and unemployed youth to serve as volunteers for a period of six months.
This initiative comes in response to the overwhelming interest shown by the youth, aiming to tackle the issue of youth unemployment in the country.
In a statement released in Accra on Thursday, the NSS outlined, “The recruitment will encompass various roles such as sanitation, teaching, agriculture, health, and other sectors aligned with government initiatives promoting environmental health, cleanliness, and sustainable development.”
“The Scheme will soon launch an online application system on its website to streamline the selection process. We urge you to inform potential candidates in your region/district about this opportunity and offer necessary guidance and assistance throughout the application process.”
