“Dumelo Promises to Sanitize Ayawaso West Wuogon”

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, John Dumelo, has pledged to collaborate with the people to keep the area clean and tidy. Speaking at a durbar of chiefs during former President Mahama’s visit to the Menpasem and Bawulesie Electoral Areas, Dumelo emphasized his commitment to cleaning up the constituency.

“Ayawaso West Wuogon has become dirty, it is dirty, but I’ll clean it up. I will make sure this place becomes clean,” he said, stressing his determination to improve the area’s sanitation. Dumelo also urged former President Mahama to help restore the licenses of collapsed banks in the area, allowing them to employ more youth in the constituency and Ghana at large.

He noted that Ayawaso West Wuogon has become the economic hub of Accra, making security a critical concern. “Security is important, we need to take security seriously,” he emphasized. Dumelo also highlighted the high levels of unemployment in the area, citing the example of a collapsed bank where corn and okro were growing on the compound. “That is not what we want,” he said.

He pleaded with Mahama to bring back the licenses of these banks, allowing them to employ more people in Ayawaso West Wuogon and Ghana. Dumelo assured the crowd of an NDC victory in the constituency on December 7, expressing confidence in the party’s chances.

He reiterated his commitment to working with the people to address the area’s challenges, including sanitation, security, and unemployment. His focus on cleaning up the constituency, restoring collapsed banks, and addressing unemployment, Dumelo aimed to win the hearts and minds of the people and secure victory for the NDC in Ayawaso West Wuogon.
