Die-Hard Trump Supporter Gets $700 Tattoo of Trump’s Defiant Gesture After Assassination Attempt

A devoted Donald Trump fan has immortalized the former US president’s bold response to a recent assassination attempt with a permanent tattoo. The supporter, who has chosen to remain anonymous, commissioned a tattoo artist to replicate the iconic image of a bloodied Trump pumping his fist and rallying supporters in Pennsylvania.

The tattoo, which cost $700, was inked by Tim Lease, a 41-year-old artist based in Orlando, Florida. Lease, who has previously worked with the client, was taken aback by the unusual request but rose to the challenge, completing the intricate design in just three hours.

According to Lease, the client walked into his studio moments after the shooting, eager to commemorate the historic moment. “I had recently started an America-themed sleeve on him. A few short hours later, I had it finished and posted it online,” Lease recounted.

Lease, who describes himself as a “well-educated conspiracy theorist,” emphasized that he created the tattoo solely for its historical pop culture significance, rather than any personal political affiliation.

The tattoo quickly went viral on social media, garnering over 900 likes and sparking a mixed reaction from viewers. Another Trump super-fan, identified only as Dan, has also gotten the same tattoo, citing the symbolism of Trump’s defiant gesture.

Dan shared his emotional response to the assassination attempt with The Daily Beast, describing the moment as “gut-wrenching.” “As an American, it was gut-wrenching. It was like, I just hope he’s okay, you know, pray for him. But when he put that fist in the air, that was it. That’s history.”

Dan explained that his decision to get the tattoo was not impulsive but rather a result of deep reflection on the significance of Trump’s actions. “I saw the photo, and it wasn’t immediately ‘all right, let’s go get a tattoo.’ I thought about it, and the way it hit home with me – a representation of his arm in the air with the blood on his face, hollering at the people to fight because they are trying to take away our freedoms.”

“I felt like it was huge for him to come out of that and survive,” Dan added.
