President Akufo-Addo Commends Kenpong Academy’s Collaborative Efforts With Bastia FC

President Nana Akufo-Addo has commended the fruitful partnership between Kenpong Football Academy and French Ligue 1 club Bastia FC, aimed at developing the skills of young Ghanaian footballers.

The collaboration, established last year, provides foreign training programs to complement the academy’s local training, enhancing the players’ potential.

To strengthen this partnership, Kenpong Football Academy invited Bastia’s Technical Director, Eric Joel, to visit Ghana and experience the academy’s operations firsthand.

During his visit, Eric Joel met with President Akufo-Addo, who expressed his support for the partnership, highlighting its potential to develop players for Ghana’s national teams.

The President praised Kenpong, the academy’s president, for his dedication to football and his efforts to promote the sport in the country.

Kenpong thanked the President for his encouragement and support, while Eric Joel is also scheduled to meet with former President J.A. Kufuor, the academy’s patron, during his visit.

This partnership is expected to have a positive impact on Ghana’s football development, fostering talent and growth for the country’s young players.
