The Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana (EFG) held its prestigious Global Business Brands Summit and Award ceremony in Accra.The event, themed “Celebrating Global Premium Quality Brands in Ghana,” honored exceptional businesses and leaders who are driving economic growth in the country.
CEOs Recognized for Outstanding Leadership
The ceremony highlighted the achievements of influential CEOs across various sectors. Among those honored were Dr. Daniel McKorley (McDan Group), Mr. Moses Baiden Jnr (Margins ID Group), and Mr. Mukesh V. Thakwani (B5 PLUS Group), all receiving the “Most Influential CEO of the Year 2023” award.
Premium Brands Take Center Stage
The summit also recognized top brands across various industries. Zenith Bank (Ghana) was named “Premium Multinational Banking Brand of the Year,” while Jay Kay Industries and M&G Pharmaceuticals received awards for excellence in paper & packaging and pharmaceuticals, respectively. Other notable winners included Ghandour Cosmetics (West African Cosmetic Brand), OmniBSIC Bank (SME Banking), MDS-Lancet Laboratories (Medical Diagnostics), Can-West (IT Equipment Distributor), Interplast (West African Pipes & Plastics), and B5 Plus Group (West African Iron & Steel).

The ceremony extended its recognition to exceptional products. GOIL’s Super Synthetic engine oil, Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority’s (DVLA) Prestige service, and Nataraj’s stationery were all awarded for their quality and innovation. Additionally, Amaron car batteries, Yokohama tires, Haier electronics, Talgentis tablets, Fairafric organic chocolates, Flora tissues, and Top Choco spreads were recognized as top performers in their respective categories.
