Akosua Vee, wife of musician-turned-politician A Plus, has come to her husband’s defense, refuting allegations of an affair with entertainment pundit MC Yaa Yeboah. In a social media post, Akosua Vee stated that neither she nor her husband has any knowledge of the purported “baby mama” being mentioned.
Akosua Vee emphasized that even if her husband were to engage in activities resulting in the birth of a child, it would be a private family matter, not for public consumption. She urged the public to treat the allegations against her husband as “baseless speculation.”
“I can state with the utmost certainty that my marriage and family are in excellent standing. I have not met any ‘baby mama’ nor has my husband been involved in any alleged scandalous extra-marital affair. Any such rumors should be summarily dismissed as baseless speculation,” Akosua Vee said.
She further emphasized that she is married to a responsible man and that no amount of attempts to tarnish his reputation and that of his family will hold. Akosua Vee also confirmed that she is currently residing outside of the country, rendering the alleged “family sittings” to be a complete fabrication.
“And should my esteemed spouse have engaged in any extramarital entanglements resulting in the birth of a child, that would have been our business and nobody else,” Akosua Vee stated.
Her clarification follows allegations by socialite Afia Schwarzenegger, who claimed that A Plus had been involved in an affair with MC Yaa Yeboah.
