UNDP Appoints Patoranking as Regional Goodwill Ambassador for Africa

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has named renowned Nigerian music star, Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, popularly known as Patoranking, as its regional goodwill ambassador for Africa. This appointment, which spans an initial two years, acknowledges Patoranking’s dedication to empowering African youth and promoting innovation and enterprise development.

As a regional goodwill ambassador, Patoranking will champion various initiatives aimed at building the innovation ecosystem in Africa, promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and supporting the Timbuktoo initiative. He will also leverage his platform to inspire and mobilize young people to take action on these critical issues.

Patoranking’s personal story of overcoming adversity and achieving success despite financial challenges makes him an inspiration to many. He has demonstrated his commitment to giving back by fostering entrepreneurial leaders and creating educational opportunities for underprivileged students. In his new role, Patoranking will continue to use his voice and influence to make a positive impact on the continent.
