“Bawumia Boasts of Achievements, Vows to Do More as President”

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, has highlighted his achievements in the northern part of the country, particularly in Chereponi. Speaking during a meeting with the chiefs and elders of Chereponi, Dr. Bawumia questioned the track record of his main opponent, John Mahama, in the region.

Bawumia challenged Mahama’s claims of development in the north, stating that despite being president, Mahama failed to initiate any significant projects in Chereponi. Bawumia showcased his accomplishments as vice president, emphasizing the various development initiatives he has undertaken in Chereponi.

He noted that as vice president, he has made a notable impact in the region, and as president, he would continue to drive progress. Bawumia emphasized that his achievements in Chereponi demonstrate his commitment to the region’s development, unlike Mahama, who failed to deliver.

He listed several projects he has initiated in Chereponi, including infrastructure development, healthcare improvements, and educational advancements. Bawumia assured the chiefs and elders that he would continue to prioritize Chereponi’s development if elected president.

He stressed that his vision for the region goes beyond mere promises, and he has a proven track record of delivery. Dr. Bawumia confidently stated that his achievements in Chereponi demonstrate his capability to lead the region towards greater prosperity, unlike Mahama, who has nothing new to offer.
