Spotify Recognizes Ghana’s Top 30 Tracks with Global Impact List

Spotify has released its inaugural Global Impact List, recognizing the top 30 tracks from Ghana with the most significant global impact on the platform in the first half of 2024.

The list, which considers tracks released between January 1 and June 30, 2024, ranks songs based on their global reach and popularity outside of Ghana. King Promise dominated the list with multiple entries, showcasing his versatility and worldwide appeal.

His hit single “Paris” emerged as Ghana’s most popular international track, captivating listeners with its catchy melody and heartfelt lyrics. Collaborations with Olivetheboy, Sarkodie, Haile, Smallgod, and Shallipopi further solidified his status as a global music icon.

The list also highlighted emerging talents, including Olivetheboy’s “Asylum” and Lasmid’s “Puul”, which showcased fresh voices making their mark on the global stage.
