Ghana’s Olympians Arrive In France To Gear Up For Paris 2024

Ghana’s Olympic team has arrived in France! They flew in early on Thursday and are now settling into their base camp in Strasbourg.

The team consists of nine athletes and some technical officials. They’ll be competing in athletics and swimming when the Games kick off in Paris on July 26th.

Some athletes are already training abroad and will join the team closer to the competition. Everyone will be together in the Games Village by July 22nd.

Ghana is sending a strong athletics team, including Abdul Saminu (100m and 200m) and the men’s 4x100m relay team. They’ll also be represented in the high jump by Africa’s queen, Rose Yeboah, and in swimming by Joselle Mensah (50m freestyle) and Harry Stacey (100m freestyle).

The excitement is building! The Paris 2024 Olympics run from July 26th to August 8th. Best of luck to Team Ghana!
