Gaza City Residents Ordered To Evacuate Amid Intensified Israeli Offensive

The Israeli military has issued a widespread evacuation order for all residents of Gaza City, instructing them to move south to the central Gaza Strip due to intensified military operations in the northern areas.

The order, delivered through leaflets dropped from aircraft, designates two safe routes leading to shelters in Deir al-Balah and al-Zawaida.

The United Nations has expressed deep concern over the evacuation orders, as this is the second time the entire city has been asked to evacuate since the conflict began.

Israeli forces have re-entered several districts in search of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad fighters, leading to heightened tensions.

Hamas officials claim that Israel’s actions threaten to undermine ceasefire negotiations and hostage release talks, currently underway in Qatar with Egyptian, US, and Israeli intelligence chiefs, as well as the Qatari prime minister.

Despite this, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reaffirmed Israel’s commitment to a deal, pending the preservation of their “red lines”.
