Bernard Antwi Bosiako, known as ‘Chairman Wontumi,’ Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, has disclosed the party’s diverse tactics aimed at securing success in the upcoming December elections.
Speaking at the unveiling of NPP’s running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO), Chairman Wontumi expressed strong optimism in the party’s ability to triumph in the polls and end the ‘8-year cycle’.
He emphasized that the NPP has meticulously completed internal elections and is now singularly focused on winning the 2024 elections.
Drawing on historical context, Chairman Wontumi asserted that past obstacles would not deter them, confidently stating, “NDC cannot impede our victory this time around. In 2008, they slowed us down, but in 2024, NDC cannot obstruct our path to victory.”
He continued, asserting, “We have mastered the art of winning elections. We have crossed every hurdle within the NPP, from polling stations to MPs and now our presidential and vice-presidential candidates. All that remains is winning the 2024 elections.”
Chairman Wontumi concluded by delivering a resolute message to the opposition: “Inform the NDC that we possess a myriad of strategies to secure victory in the 2024 elections, and we are prepared.”
