The highly anticipated trailer for Season 2 of Severance has finally dropped, offering a glimpse into the upcoming episodes. However, the release date revealed in the trailer has left fans disheartened, with the show set to return to Apple TV+ on January 17, 2025.
Fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their disappointment, with one user writing, “Give it to me now.” Another fan joked, “Releasing in 2025 should be illegal.” Despite the wait, most fans were thrilled to see the show’s return, with one user commenting, “Maybe one of the greatest TV shows of all time.”
The trailer offered some exciting moments, including a brief appearance by Gwendoline Christie, who joins the cast for Season 2. Her character’s identity remains unclear, but her ominous warning, “You should have left,” hints at an intriguing storyline.
Returning cast members include Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, Zach Cherry, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock, Dichen Lachman, Michael Chernus, John Turturro, and Christopher Walken. Alia Shawkat, known for her role in Arrested Development, is also joining the cast.
