President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo celebrates his dual terms as president, contrasting his fortune with the perceived dissatisfaction of former President John Dramani Mahama over not serving a second term.
Speaking at the New Patriotic Party’s event in Kumasi, Akufo-Addo expressed gratitude for being elected twice, attributing it to divine favor.
He noted that not everyone gets the opportunity to serve multiple terms, implying that this might be the source of Mahama’s ongoing dismay.
Akufo-Addo emphasized his luck in receiving widespread support, including from Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Ashanti Kingdom’s overlord, underscoring his confidence in leading Ghana.
