West Ham’s Kudus Focused On New Season Despite Transfer Rumors

Story Highlights
  • Kudus is shutting out transfer talk
  • He remains committed to West Ham
  • Kudus impressed with 18 goals

West Ham midfielder Mohammed Kudus is shutting out transfer talk and focusing on the upcoming season in East London.

Following a stellar debut campaign with the Hammers in 2023/24, Kudus has attracted interest from Premier League clubs like Arsenal and Liverpool, as well as Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad.

The 23-year-old Ghanaian acknowledges the buzz in an interview with The Athletic, attributing it to his strong performances. However, he remains committed to West Ham.

“It’s natural to hear rumors when you play well in this league,” Kudus said. “But right now, I’m just focused on getting ready for the new season. We’ll see what happens after that.”

With David Moyes gone, Kudus will be playing under a new manager in Julen Lopetegui, who recently took the reins at West Ham.

Last season, Kudus impressed with 18 goals and 7 assists in all competitions across 48 appearances. He looks to continue his strong form in the upcoming campaign.
