Govt Receives Five Bids for Saglemi Housing Project – Oppong Nkrumah

The Ministry of Works and Housing has received five bids for the completion of over 1500 unfinished units at the Saglemi Housing project.

Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah disclosed that an independent entity will evaluate these bids, ensuring a transparent selection process.

In a statement, Minister Oppong Nkrumah outlined that the Public Procurement Authority will collaborate with the ministry to appoint an independent evaluation entity by Wednesday. This entity will meticulously assess the bids and submit a comprehensive report.

“We have received five bids. Today, we have initiated the process with the Public Procurement Authority to appoint an independent evaluation entity. From their pre-qualified list, we will finalize our selection by Wednesday,” the minister explained.

He further clarified, “Within seven days following the submission of bids, we anticipate receiving the evaluation report from the chosen entity. This report will determine the preferred bidder for advancing the Saglemi Housing project.”

The government aims to swiftly conclude the selection process, ensuring accountability and efficiency in the project’s completion.
