Taxi driver, Amos Adusei, 37, was shot and killed by suspected robbers on Saturday night in Ahenkro, Ashanti Region.

The incident occurred around 10:30 pm on the Ahenkro-Kwaman road.

Hon. Isaac Adusei, the victim’s brother and Assembly Member for Ahenkro, confirmed finding his brother’s body with gunshot wounds to the chest.

He criticized the lack of police patrols at the time and urged authorities to apprehend the perpetrators.

Local taxi drivers expressed concern over frequent robberies on the Ahenkro-Boaman road.

They lamented the absence of police presence during these attacks, suggesting a lax approach from local law enforcement.
